Athena Dreams

Hi, my name is Liz, and I am a full time artist and designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Athena Dreams is my on-line shop where I sell prints of my work, greeting card sets, as well as original paintings. My work is about memories and story: I believe we forever inhabit our own personal stories. I believe too, that we can all relate to each others experiences and stories, and so perhaps you can see something in one of my pieces that speaks to you, speaks to your own story. With bits of vintage newspaper, pages from a well-used dictionary, old photos from family photo albums, and photos I have taken myself – all layered together with paint and ink – these moments in time come alive again, reflecting all that exists beneath the surfaces of our lives.
